Sly was in the closet, his hands shaking, eyes blood shot, unable to move from where he was in the closet. In front of him, laying there as he peeked through the small crack he had in the closet door, he saw his parents. His mother and father lay dead on the floor, their bodies clawed by the tall cyborg who did the deed.
Sly remained their, unable to move out from the small space or back away, too terrified from what he witnessed. He prayed, he hoped, that his parents were just sleeping and that they were only unconscious from what happened. He hoped that they'd get up and his dad, in pain but alive, would help up his mom, and the two would share a brief exchange of pleasure, happy to be alive. As the group stood there looking up at Sabas, who sat idly and patiently on the throne, they all braced for whatever he had in store for them. And yet as they stood there, nothing happened. Sabas sat there, looking them all over with eyes of pure curiosity, and the group was growing uneasy from the silence the powerful sorcerer emitted.
Finally, it was Vimenhotep who decided to speak out against the silence they were all in.
"You!" He started, the jackal then turning his attention to the older raccoon, who was holding his Cooper fan axe with one hand as he pointed toward the jackal, his eyes full of fury. "You brought ruin to Cairo, and all it's people!"
